Heck & Wicker, Inc. has a solid background in contracting services for railroads and pipeline situations. We have trained supervisors accustomed to various job conditions. We have suitable machine and equipment for the tasks that are required. Most importantly, we have a working knowledge of the procedures for dealing with these industries, and the experience of working in hazardous situations.

In the railroad industry, Heck and Wicker, Inc. has performed grading work, replaced bridges, removed switches and assisted in laying tracks in difficult terrain. We have cleared and repaired tracks after train derailments, as well as assisting salvage operations with spilled cargo. We are aware that time is of the essence in keeping the mainline open in all of these operations even in adverse conditions.

The ability to respond from a washout on the East West Main line of the Union Pacific Railroad, in central Kansas, to our ability to re-rail multiple car derailments at the KAAP, Parsons Kansas, has produced a repeat customer basis from governmental agencies to industrial manufacturing sites that require internal transportation.
